Food & Accommodation

The Boatside Inn sits on the north side of Warden Bridge and nestles between the river South Tyne and the slopes of Warden Hill. The pub has a popular restaurant, holiday cottages and bed & breakfast, and is half a mile from the A69 and 2 miles from Hexham.

Over the past 25 years, the business has been developed and managed by the Straker family, although, more recently, due to family health problems, it has been let out and is presently in the capable hands of Matt Cawood, with whom there is close liaison and regular management meetings.
